from manila to gaithersburg - 3 hours in naia (freshness, i didn’t have to fall in a long queue. thanks to www.nwa.com’s online check-in service)
- 4 ½ hours from manila to nagoya (still quite fresh)
- 1 ½ hours in nagoya airport (surprisingly, their ground attendants and immigrations people speak better english now)
- 11 hours from nagoya to detroit (literally, a pain in the ass)
- 3 hours in detroit-wayne airport including 1 ½ hours in the homeland security office (yes! my god! we were almost prohibited to enter the country!!! kaloka! good thing everything was settled or else, we would have been sent back to the philippines, and i wouldn’t be able to pick up my shoes! hahaha!)
- 1 ½ hours from detroit to washington dc (my seatmate put the talk in talkative!)
- 30 minutes in washington-reagan (uber harassed look)
- 1 hour from washington dc to gaithersburg, md (finally!)
26 hours!!! super tiring! as in, haggard talaga!!! and grimy! like i could smell my dead skin cells!!! hahaha! good thing the weather here is lovely – not as cold as jan 2005 or jan 2006. tipong, i’m only using a sweater. it’s like baguio weather lang. i like!
* i’m gonna pick up my shoes na later. yehey!

i'm kinda narcissistic so i'd say i'm cute. hehehe!!! =) but then, to each his own; so if you don't find me one, BAH! heheheh!!! =) at first glance, you might find me timid but all you need to do is locate the button that triggers my hyperactivity, and i'd certainly be as buoyant as a bubble. once you've decided to press that button, be sure though that you have a very long string of patience; and be ready when i deliver my litany of blah-blahs for i'd go yakkity-yak-yak like there's no tomorrow - loquacity personified. on the other hand, some might find me bitchy. truth is... i am. hehehe!!! =) nonetheless, i may be bitchy but i am also a relatively nice person. yes, bitchy and nice are oxymoronic, and it sounds ironic; but this combination is indeed possible, and i am an epitome of such. of course, this is just how i perceive myself. some people might agree but others may think otherwise. yet again, to each his own.... =)
