last friday night, we had our company christmas party. as always, it was held at the new world renaissance hotel in greenbelt. what makes this christmas party a very different experience to me is that i actually performed in front of my colleagues this time around. i sang anthony callea’s (australian idol ’05 runner-up) solo version of the song “the prayer” during the program. at first, i was really nervous but i got a grip of myself somewhere in the middle of the song. i’d say, generally, my performance went really well. a lot of people were surprised that i could sing that way because my speaking voice is totally different from my singing voice. the following is an audio recording (i don’t wanna post the video! =P) of my performance that night; so if you have some time to waste, you may listen to it at your own risk. just disregard jem and chrissy’s comments. hahaha!
